General terms & conditions

These terms apply to all users of the domains rataroem.com (henceforth: the site). The terms and conditions will be valid for all your future transactions with 930817-XXXX (henceforth: RATA ROEM; may be referred to as “we”, “us” and “our”) and visits to the site. You must be eighteen years old or older. If you are under eighteen, you may only use this site with the agreement of, and under the supervision of, a parent or guardian. If you do not qualify, please do not use this site. RATA ROEM reserves the right to update, change or replace any part of these Terms of Service. You can review the most current version of the Terms of Service at any time on this page. Users are responsible for keeping themselves updated with such changes.

Disclaimer

RATA ROEM does not guarantee that all items included in the RATA ROEM web shop are in stock at the time of your order. In the event that an item is unavailable, we will contact you shortly by email. RATA ROEM cannot promise that the content of the site is free of inaccuracies or typographical errors at all times. Neither can we guarantee that all information is up-to-date. We may, at any time, amend the content of the site. Although RATA ROEM strives to display the correct texts, images and pricing on the site and web shop, errors may occur. If you have been charged the wrong amount in the web shop, RATA ROEM will give you the option of placing a new order with the correct price or canceling your order. However we reserve the right to cancel any order prior to dispatch should we find that the price is incorrect. In such case we will notify you by email. If we are unable to contact you, your order will be automatically cancelled. Parts of the services mediated through the site are maintained by outside organizations. We cannot be held responsible for any errors resulting from their activities. RATA ROEM cannot be held responsible for any damaged caused from using the site or, for that matter, not being able to use the site. RATA ROEM cannot guarantee problem-free, uninterrupted, and secure access to the site.

Trademarks

Our trademarks include (amongst others) the RATA ROEM name and logo. These trademarks may be used or registered in more than one country and your use of this web site does not grant you any rights to use our trademarks.

Security

RATA ROEM use Secure Socket Layers (SSL), the industry standard in transferring information to process your orders that secures communications by encrypting all data to and from the site. For security reasons, we do not store any payment information in our database.

Resale Policy

You may purchase products on www.rataroem.com for personal use only and not for resale. By placing an order on www.rataroem.com, you certify that you are purchasing products for your own personal use and not for resale and that you accept our general terms and conditions.  We reserve the right to refuse orders for any reason without explanation.

Privacy policy

All personal information saved at the site will be handled with the most utmost care. The information that we store will not be sold or used for any purposes other than ensuring the best service possible. It will solely be used for informing you about special offers and other marketing opportunities related to the different divisions of RATA ROEM. Your personal data may be disclosed to third parties only when it is necessary to fulfill the purposes described above. When registering with the site, you have the option not to receive any information from RATA ROEM. If you wish to end your subscription, you may make the changes in your account settings or send an email to hi@rataroem.com. You have the right to review your information on file at any time. This can be accessed by emailing hi@rataroem.com. If the data is incomplete or incorrect, you have the right to have the information corrected. All customers paying by card are subject to validation checks. RATA ROEM reserves the right to delay any order if fraud is suspected. 

Cookies

Cookies are used on the site to improve your browsing experience. In addition to use for statistical purposes, cookies identifies your computer and allows the site to recall your personal settings. Your browser can be set to send a notification when a cookie is activated. This allows you to deny use of this cookie or to delete the cookie at the end of your visit. This may prevent you from taking full advantage of the website.

The site may contain links to other websites beyond our reach. We cannot be held liable for content or privacy policies of such sites.

Colors

We cannot guarantee that colors on the website will be true to life. This depends partly on the color settings of your computer and monitor.

Violation of rules

RATA ROEM reserves the right to seek all solutions available at law and in equity for violations of these Terms and Conditions, including the right to block access to the site. Individuals violating the restriction of password-protected areas of the site may be subject to prosecution.

Force majeure

In case of Force Majeure, our obligations will be suspended. The contract between you and RATA ROEM can, in such cases, be partially or fully terminated by yourself or by RATA ROEM. A Force Majeure is in the event of war, civil war, revolution, riot, governmental measures, strike, lockout, blockage, failure of electricity, telephone or internet service, natural disasters or similar events. Under such circumstances, we will attempt to resolve all issues in a timely manner.

Governing law

These terms of use are complied in accordance with Swedish law and the Swedish courts will have exclusive jurisdiction for any dispute under this agreement. 

Order Policy

We reserve the right to limit the quantities of RATA ROEM products that we supply, and/or to refuse any order that is unusual or placed in bad faith. In addition, we reserve the right to refuse any order from a client with whom there is a dispute concerning the payment of a previous order.

Purchase

When you place an order at www. rataroem.com you will receive an electronic order confirmation to your email address. We cannot guarantee that all items shown at the RATA ROEM webshop are available in stock at the time of your order. Some sizes or items might be sold out. If the item you have ordered is out of stock we will contact you by email and you will be entitled to terminate your order and get all your money back. We will, without undue delay, give you a full refund within 30 days from when the order was terminated.

Prices & Payment

RATA ROEM webshop accepts most major credit/debit cards. All credit and debit cardholders are subject to validation checks and authorization by the card issuer. If the issuer of your payment card refuses to authorize payment to us, we will not be liable for any delay or non-delivery.

All prices for purchases in the European Union include Swedish VAT at 25%. Final payment will be made in EURO.

All purchases outside of the EU will have the VAT amount of 25% deducted at checkout. 

Please note that the shipping cost is not included in the prices displayed in the webshop. The shipping cost will be calculated and displayed when you check out your items.

Shipping & Delivery

RATA ROEM operates Monday to Friday, with the exception of public holidays, and will process your order in the shortest time possible. During peak season, processing time may take longer than usual due to high demand. Delivery times are provided as guidelines only, and do not take into account possible delays caused by payment authorisation and/or stock availability.

Taxes & custom duties

All international orders may be subject to customs duties, import taxes, and other charges imposed by the destination country. These charges are the sole responsibility of the customer and are not included in the purchase price or shipping costs.

Please note that refusing delivery does not exempt the customer from responsibility for incurred customs charges. In the event that an international order is refused or rejected by the customer and returned to us, any duties, taxes, or additional fees incurred by the Company in order to receive the returned goods will be deducted from the customer’s refund.

The Company reserves the right to deduct such costs from the total refund amount to compensate for expenses incurred. Any remaining balance will be refunded in accordance with our returns policy.

Please note that since international shipments may be subject to cross-border inspections by customs authorities. In the event that your order does not arrive within the approximate delivery period stated we will do our best to assist in tracking your order. In the event of non-delivery of your order we are unable to process a replacement order until 21 business days following the original shipment date.

Returns

Items purchased at www.rataroem.com are eligible for return within 14 days of delivery.

  • Items must be returned unused and in their original condition.
  • Items must be returned including their original packaging intact and the original tags still attached to each item.
  • RATA ROEM reserves the right to reject any returns that does not meet the above criteria. If your return is rejected, you will be notified by email.
  • The original shipping cost will not be refunded.
  • The return shipping cost is payed by the costumer.
  • No return on sale items on orders from outside the EU. 

Register a return

To return or exchange an item, please email us at hi@rataroem.com

  • State your order number, as well as the style and size you wish to return.
  • Once your return request has been registered, please by a return shipping label.
  • Returns from outside the EU: You will be provided three copies of the customs invoice to ensure the parcel will pass through the customs. One copy goes inside the parcel, one attached to the outside of the parcel and give one to carrier personel.
  • Place the item(s) inside a solid carton box, preferably the original shipping box and close it securely.
  • Attach the return shipping label to the box over the original shipping label.
  • Drop off the parcel at your closest service point.

Exchanges

If you wish to exchange an item for a different style, please register a return and simply place a new order separately at www.rataroem.com

Refunds

All returns fulfilling the above criteria and are shipped back within the 14-day time period will be refunded to the original form of payment. Once delivered to RATA ROEM, returns may take up to 14 business days to process. Upon completion, a refund confirmation email will be generated. Please note that return processing may take additional time during peak seasonal times. RATA ROEM will not refund the original shipping cost and/or shipping cost for uncollected packages. 

Promotional codes

When an order is placed using a promotional code and contains a number of items, the value of the discount is spread over each item according to the pro-rated value of that item. Any refund of an item purchased in such an order will be reduced by the value of discount attached to it. The ‘discount’ will not be refunded.

Defective items

Before your parcel leaves our warehouse, it is fully checked and controlled by our packing team. If an item received is classified as faulty and was received damaged, you must contact us within 7 days of receipt we can then offer alternatives such as repair or exchanges.

Cancellation Rights

You have the right to cancel your order under the Consumer Contracts. You may cancel your order within 14 working days after the day on which you receive your Items. 

If, for any reason, you wish to cancel your order before your items have been dispatched, please email your cancellation marked ‘urgent cancellation’ to hi@rataroem.com and list your name, address, product ordered and order code on the email.
